Earthquake Emergency Response in Türkiye

Duration: February 2023 - March 2023  

Project goals:   

The proposed actions are planned for Hatay. Provision of shelter, hygiene materials and non-food items for disaster victims in Hatay to meet their basic needs.  

Implementation and results: 

• O1: Support disaster affected people with facilities (provision of 8 containers containing portable toilets, shower cabins) 
• O2: Support disaster affected people with hygiene materials to meet with their hygiene and female care needs (800 hygiene packs distributed) 
• O3: Support disaster affected people with non-food items to allow them deal with harsh weather conditions (300 - 150 for children, 150 for adults - clothing packages distributed)
