Context:
The Syrian war has created immense challenges in almost all sectors, including livelihoods. Building on our previous project “Emergency Shelter Rehabilitation for IDPs in Idleb”, this project will seek to decrease the gaps in livelihood support for disadvantaged youth from the area of Idlib in northern Syria. The proposed project aims to build the resilience of the targeted households and communities by creating swift income-generating opportunities through a youth-focused emergency livelihood intervention. By providing integrated activities in Idlib, the project is designed to support female and male youth in need, including PWDs, through two components:
(1) short-term vocational trainings and (2) livelihood activation grants.
Project Goal:
- Overall objective: To contribute to strengthening the resilience and livelihoods of vulnerable communities affected by the consequences of the Syrian crisis in Idlib by increasing the access to income generation.
